About Me
In 2012, I moved to San Luis Obispo from Los Angeles where I was a high school teacher and college baseball coach. I loved helping students reach both their academic and athletic goals. It was during this time that I became really interested in the human body and how it moves. Before moving into massage therapy, I spent time working in both the non-profit and business sector as a program director, administrator, and fundraiser.

Strangely enough, I have the COVID-19 pandemic to thank for becoming a massage therapist. I was spending so much time feeling stuck at a computer, not feeling like I had a purpose. During the pandemic, I left my job and enrolled in Massage Therapy school and have loved every second of it. The body is fascinating and as a massage therapist, you are able to help people live their lives as pain-free as possible.

Modern living strains the body and creates distortion, asymmetry and disconnect which manifests as pain. I’m committed to educating people about their bodies and applying massage techniques to help people move through life with ease, stability and improved movement.

Pain, relief, and relaxation are deeply personal experiences, unique to each individual’s journey. At AM Massage and Bodywork, we honor this by offering a fully customized approach to massage therapy. Utilizing a variety of massage techniques, we begin every session with a detailed discussion about your body’s specific needs and the goals you aim to achieve.
Together, we will develop a personalized plan that not only addresses immediate concerns but also promotes long-term wellness. By forging a partnership focused on your health, we empower you to experience true healing and rejuvenation.
